Thank you for coming together for Morocco
Following the devastating earthquake in Morocco in September 2023, we brought people together through food, community and generosity to support those affected.
What started as an idea between friends became a community-led fundraising initiative, bringing together chefs, restaurants, volunteers, friends and supporters in a shared effort to support Morocco.
The campaign has now come to an end, but this little space remains as a thank you to everyone who made it possible.
WHY
“Food felt like a natural place to start — food is the soul of Moroccan culture and our language of love. We wanted to create a way for our community to come together while raising funds for people and organisations supporting those affected by the earthquake. What we set out to do
We wanted to create a simple way for people to come together through food and show their support for Morocco following the devastating earthquake in September 2023.
What started as an idea became a collective effort — made possible by everyone who cooked, donated, volunteered, shared and showed up.
The funds raised through the campaign were donated to Choose Love to support people and communities affected by the earthquake in Morocco.
